COUNTY OF SONOMA

SPG SOLAR

The County of Sonoma benefits from a 708 kW solar tracking system, saving $1.4 million and becoming one of the first municipal zero-net electricity campuses in California. SPG Solar designed, financed through a solar power purchase agreement (PPA), installed and will maintain the solar power system.

The video case study, narrated by Sam Roark, Energy and Sustainability Coordinator for Sonoma County, beautiful highlights the partnership between the county and SPG Solar. Set on site at the the solar array, with Sonoma as the backdrop, the story unfolds as the camera shows specific functionality and features of the SPG Solar products.

“THERE'S MORE SOLAR ENERGY HITTING THE EARTH EVERY DAY, THAN THERE IS NEED FOR POWERING THE WORLD.”

Sam Roark, Energy and Sustainability Coordinator for Sonoma County
